Camp AmeriKids Cabin Challenge!
We have launched The ELM Project’s FIRST EVER Camp AmeriKids CABIN CHALLENGE! We need to raise 65,000 to send 40 children living with HIV/AIDS and sickle cell disease to summer camp by June 30th, 2016! It costs $1,700 for a child to come to summer camp.
The challenge starts Friday, April 15, 2016 and ends Thursday, June 30, 2016 at midnight.
There are three ways to support this challenge:
- You can be a part of the challenge by setting up your very own funding page and inviting your friends and family to support a cause your care about by clicking on http://www.crowdrise.com/CabinChallenge. There are 8 cabins to choose from plus the LIT/Mentor cabin. Choose your favourite one . The goal is for each cabin to raise $6,800 and send 4 kids to camp this year. As always, we are grateful for any amount of money you can raise!
- You can support one of the many counselors, friends and volunteers we already have competing to fundraise to send a child to camp.
- Contribute to the overall campaign by clicking on General Donations.
Your efforts and donations will go a long way this summer towards ensuring that these 40 very deserving children will be able to return to camp this year.
We will be having a celebration at camp this summer where we will award the winning cabin the CABIN CHALLENGE TROPHY. Additionally, the individual who raises the most $$$$ will be receiving a very Campy surprise. If you would like to join us for the celebration, we can arrange transportation from NYC.
